So what defines if a food qualifies for being on the Superfoods list? In a nutshell, they are any type of food containing notably high concentrations of vitamins and minerals compared to their size. In other words, they’re nutritionally potent.

Superfoods are considered anti-aging foods. Well, this is because they have high levels of antioxidants and phytochemicals that have been shown to prevent and even reverse the effects of aging.

As humans, we must have vitamins and minerals to survive. Without these essential nutrients, our bodies will break down, become weak, and you know the rest of the story.
